Job summary

Michaels Stores in Orlando (Store - ORL-ORLANDO/DR PHILLIPS, FL) seeks a team member to maintain store cleanliness, assist customers, and support daily store operations. Responsibilities include trash disposal, floor cleaning, stocking, planograms, and participating in Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Preferred candidates have retail or cleaning experience and are capable of lifting and standing for long periods. The role requires adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways) to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and notify supervisor of supply needs for replenishment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks.
• Perform tasks in accordance with SOPs and company policies and applicable laws.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and truck un-load, stocking and planograms.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
