Job summary

Michaels in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a store associate to help maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment. You will perform cleaning tasks, assist customers, stock shelves, and support checkout operations.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting boxes, and following store SOPs. We offer employee discounts and a benefits package; background in retail or cleaning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; manage cash handling to standards.
• Assist customers, help them shop, and enroll in Rewards/Private Label programs.
• Engage in Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship from Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
