Job summary

Michaels is seeking a part-time Store Associate in Alcoa, TN to uphold clean store standards and assist customers with their shopping needs. You’ll perform cleaning duties, stock coordination, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment across the store.

Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience and a willingness to engage customers, with duties including trash disposal, floor care, and assisting with POS-related tasks as needed.

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors as directed; move equipment and stock as needed.
• Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and high-traffic areas.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines; notify supervisor on supply needs.
