Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring for a Store Associate in the BOS-NEWTON, MA area. You will help maintain the store’s cleanliness, assist customers, and ensure a friendly, efficient shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You’ll also handle basic checkout, promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with stocking, BOPIS, and safety programs while adhering to SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Assist with checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
• Participate in stocking and planogram processes and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
