Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Stoneham, MA, is seeking a Store Associate to maintain a clean, welcoming store and assist customers with their shopping needs.

You will perform cleaning, stocking, and checkout duties, while participating in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store. The role requires standing, lifting, and flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to stand for long periods, move around the store, and lift items as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises; provide friendly customer service and help shoppers find what they need
• Collect and dispose of trash according to procedures; dust and mop floors; move equipment and stock products
• Clean assigned areas with required supplies; deep clean key areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways) and notify supervisor for supplies
• Provide fast checkout experience with cash handling per standards; assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store) and stocking
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes; support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies
