Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in the BOS-Braintree, MA area to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

You will participate in omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and promote rewards programs and private label credit cards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and assist with purchases.
• Comfort with standing, lifting and stocking duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Promote rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Ensure in-stock, well-merchandised store; complete merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully and be a positive role model for team members.
