Job summary

Michaels in Levittown, NY is hiring for a store associate to maintain cleanliness, assist customers and support daily store operations. You’ll handle cash handling, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, support BOPIS/SFS, stock shelves and maintain planograms, and help keep the store safe and welcoming.

The role requires ability to stand long periods, lift and move items, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store appearance and cleanliness.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding items.
• Handle cash and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and private label credit cards.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store).
• Stock shelves, assist with planograms, and participate in truck unloading.
