Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. store in Levittown, NY seeks a Store Associate to maintain a high standard of the store environment and deliver friendly customer service. You will assist customers, handle checkout, and participate in cleaning and stocking tasks throughout the shift.

You will engage customers in Rewards program enrollments, support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and compliance. Flexible hours include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws
