Michaels Stores in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Store Associate to maintain the store’s cleanliness, assist customers, and support operations including BOPIS and Ship from Store. You’ll help with stocking, cash handling, and driving a friendly shopping experience.

The role emphasizes standing for long periods, lifting, and teamwork in a climate-controlled public retail environment, with varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
