Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for the CHI-VERNON HILLS, IL location. You will assist customers, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will also participate in stock, shelf replenishment, and store recovery to keep our shelves well merchandised.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery and in-stock optimization; handle returns and go-backs.
