Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store associate to maintain a high standard of the store, assist customers, and support daily operations at Michaels Stores. You will help customers find items, manage checkout, and participate in rewards programs.

This role includes stocking, unloading trucks, and following safety and SOP guidelines. Prospective team members may access comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, employee discounts, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store appearance and cleanliness.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers as applicable.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
