Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time retail management experience; current Store Director experience is a plus.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy in execution.
• Innovate and champion ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team and drive profitability while aligning with the Madewell brand.
• Create exceptional customer experiences through personalized service and proactive engagement.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Recruit, train, and develop the best talent to build a diverse team.
• Partner with the District Manager and management team to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team is always on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Provide feedback to the District Manager to influence product assortment and in-store visual merchandising.
