Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio seeks a Store Director to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Meijer's leadership standards and core values.

You will develop and mentor a team, ensure fiscal discipline, and cultivate community partnerships to strengthen the Meijer brand and customer experience across all departments. You will use strong financial acumen to analyze performance and guide merchandising decisions, while ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• Experience leading retail or service operations with at least $40 million in annual sales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Use your retail leadership and service expertise to maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to meet and exceed goals.
• Ensure proper staffing and professional development of team members.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures to provide a safe work environment.
• Cultivate relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand.
