Job summary

Snezane? Sézane is seeking a Store Director to lead operations in the Upper East Side store, NY. You will drive customer experience, manage a multi-person team, and ensure strong financial performance while upholding Sézane’s luxury standards.

The role emphasizes clienteling, budget accountability, and cross-functional collaboration with Paris HQ. Candidates with 5–7 years in retail leadership and a passion for brand ambassador duties will fit well.

Qualifications

• Strong managerial skills with 5–7 years in retail management and business acumen.
• Experience in a luxury or fast-paced retail environment preferred.
• Excellent communications and team management skills.
• French speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Brand by interacting with clients in their shopping experience at the store, maintaining high customer service, product knowledge and basic operational procedures.
• Manage, train and motivate shop team (assist with hiring and recruitment).
• Oversee all operational aspects of the shop (retail excellence, visual merchandising, inventory logistics, etc.).
• Be accountable for shop budgets and financial targets while identifying opportunities for growth.
• Monitor performance to propose commercial action plans to maximize sales and minimize costs.
• Monitor operational expenses and responsible for supply management.
• Develop open relationships and collaborate with the Paris HQ team.
• Follow up on retail excellence programs.
• Liaise with internal & external partners to resolve issues (deliveries, stock, IT, maintenance, security).
• Ensure quality of internal control and inventory management (inventory, cash management, internal procedures).
• Plan and execute store events, off-site activations and partnerships.
• Coach staff and motivate teams to achieve customer service and financial growth.
• Conduct full appraisals with direct reports and set clear objectives.
• Participate in recruitment, store organization, team development and HR needs.
• Develop strong clienteling and loyalty initiatives.

We are seeking the talents of a Store Director to contribute to the next chapter of Sézane’s journey. The position is based in Upper East Side in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Brand by interacting with clients in their shopping experience at the store, by maintaining a high level of customer service, product knowledge and basic operational procedures.

• Develop open relationships and collaborate transversally with Paris HQ team

Operations

• Follow up on retail excellence programs


• Liaise with internal & external partners to solve issues related but not limited to: deliveries, stock, IT, maintenance, security

Salary range: $85-105K (Salary + Bonus)
