Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Store Director to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing premium lifestyle brand's Atlanta location. The Store Director will own store performance, lead and develop the retail team, and create an exceptional, individualized experience for every customer who walks through the door.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the sales floor and understands that great specialty retail is built through authentic relationships, strong product knowledge, thoughtful service, and consistent execution. The Store Director will also oversee product flow, inventory, visual merchandising, and in-store events while fostering a positive and team-oriented store culture.

Key Responsibilities

Store Leadership & Sales Performance

• Lead and direct daily store operations with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals
• Take ownership of overall store performance while identifying opportunities to grow the business
• Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, leading by example and setting the standard for service and selling
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented store culture

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

• Cultivate an environment of authentic customer connection through every interaction
• Serve as a passionate brand ambassador with exceptional knowledge of the product assortment and brand story
• Discover and assess customer needs and provide thoughtful, individualized solutions
• Build lasting customer relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat business
• Support customer service needs including returns, exchanges, questions, and concerns

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop retail associates
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and leadership to support individual and team performanceli>
• Create an environment of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional customer service
• Ensure the team is equipped with strong product knowledge and the tools needed to confidently represent the brand

Operations, Inventory & Merchandising

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure consistent execution of company standards
• Monitor inventory levels and partner with corporate inventory and warehouse teams to plan for future product needs
• Support product flow, receiving, stocking, and replenishment
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation standards
• Ensure the store remains organized, well-stocked, and ready to deliver an elevated customer experience

Community & Events

• Support and execute in-store events and brand activations
• Build relationships within the Atlanta community and help establish the store as a local destination for the brand
• Represent the brand professionally both inside and outside of the store

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience; experience within apparel, premium lifestyle, specialty retail, or a customer service-focused environment preferred
• Exceptional leadership, sales, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a retail team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive work ethic
• Comfortable balancing customer-facing leadership with the operational needs of the store
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends
• High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
• Genuine appreciation for premium product, the outdoors, and relationship-driven retail
