Job summary

Houchens Food Group – Construction Management is seeking a self-motivated Project Manager to support the Store Development team. You will lead capital projects from planning through completion, coordinating design, estimating, procurement, and schedules.

Responsibilities include cost control, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, and IT. Travel up to 50% may be required for various markets.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial construction management experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead capital projects across markets.
• Develop construction cost estimates and manage procurement/bidding.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Real Estate, Facilities, Marketing, IT and other teams.
• Travel within assigned regions up to 50% as needed.
