Job summary

Houchens-Food-Group-Inc is seeking a Senior Manager of Store Facilities to lead the day-to-day facilities maintenance across all retail holdings. You will oversee a network of technicians, supervisors, and dispatch personnel, ensuring uptime, service levels, and safe, efficient operations.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this role focuses on labor budgeting, vendor management, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and safety compliance.
• Ability to manage service levels and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Facilities Maintenance Technicians, supervisors, and dispatch staff.
• Oversee the maintenance dispatch to prioritize, assign, and close work orders.
• Ensure appropriate technician coverage across the retail footprint.
• Establish minimum SLA standards for response and completion.
• Maximize store uptime and critical equipment availability.
• Manage technician hours to budget and track labor utilization.
• Monitor open and aged work orders and ensure timely closure.
• Ensure quality workmanship and first-time resolution; reduce callbacks.
• Provide timely, professional communication to store operators and customers.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors when needed.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and identify recurring issues.
• Partner with the Director of Facilities on staffing, budgets, and capital needs.
