Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Store Design to lead end-to-end design and delivery of retail environments across Disney locations and experiences. You will drive concept creation, store layouts, finish selections, and storytelling through design while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Director, Store Design & Development, you will manage multiple projects, ensure budgets and schedules, and maintain design intent to enhance guest experiences across parks,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in retail design or related architecture roles.
• 3+ years of management experience leading design teams.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of building codes and retail standards.
• Experience presenting concepts to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day store design activities from concept through project completion.
• Oversee creation of design concepts, store layouts, finish selections, fixtures and storytelling elements.
• Provide leadership and development to Store Design & Development team.
• Review architectural drawings and vendor shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Drive project management across multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines and budgets.
• Monitor milestones and deliverables; identify risks and implement mitigation.
• Resolve design issues during construction and build-out phases.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align design direction and coordinate with partners.
