Job summary

Disney Consumer Products is seeking a Store Design Manager to spearhead the design, development, and rollout of new and rehabbed store locations. You will coordinate external architectural firms and work with internal teams to meet Disney’s standards of quality and schedule.

You will manage multiple projects, review vendor drawings for design intent, and contribute to brand guidelines for fixtures and layouts to ensure consistent customer experiences across stores.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Retail Store Design leadership.
• Experience in architecture of retail stores and store build-out processes.
• Excellent project management skills to lead multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of store design, branding, and customer experience impacts.
• Experience developing building plans, layouts, fixtures, construction documents.
• Understanding of retail design principles and customer-facing concepts.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD and vendor shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage store design process from development through execution for multiple projects.
• Liaise between merchandise, operations, Facility Asset Management, and Imagineering.
• Ensure store layout/design meets requirements and reviews vendor drawings for design intent.
• Develop cost optimization and savings opportunities.
• Support vendor relationships, contracts, and accountability with external consultants.
• Contribute to brand guideline development for fixtures, colors, decor, and layouts.
