Michaels Stores in Pitt-Greensburg, PA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers, stock shelves, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, merchandising, and store recovery, while promoting the Rewards program and omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role requires team-oriented individuals who can stand long hours in a climate-controlled retail environment and provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go-back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact professionally; act as a role model for Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
