Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales role at NAPA Auto Parts

We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though that’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other career paths with us. We welcome all applicants!

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)

• Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in retail, auto body, or collision shops
• Knowledge of cataloging or inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications
