Job summary

Walmart in Amarillo, TX is seeking a store leadership professional to drive team performance and store operations. The role focuses on teaching, coaching, and listening to associates while guiding store initiatives through data-driven decisions.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to meet sales goals; lead merchandising, inventory management, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and complete trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and listening to associates; tour stores and provide feedback.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and OBW service standards; lead customer service initiatives and community programs.
• Monitor merchandising, inventory flow and seasonal transitions; implement action plans to mitigate shrink.
