Based in Augusta, GA, you’ll help build a strong, customer-focused team in a growing family-owned business. As a Co-Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager to execute merchandising plans, ensure in-stock conditions, and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years supermarket management experience.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Strong customer service and front-end operations awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assists the store manager in implementing a sales-building culture through merchandising programs and weekly plans.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with emphasis on front-end service and courtesy.
• Aim for budgeted financial results and assist overall store performance.
• Protect assets by managing merchandise, cash, facilities, and equipment, and conduct weekly audits.
• Control store expenses and wage percentages within budgeted targets.
• Assist staffing needs, forecast requirements, recruit, and develop hi-potential employees.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct reviews and feedback sessions.
• Maintain awareness of store conditions through frequent store walks.
• Train and develop store management and department managers for growth.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards across the store.
• Foster a positive morale atmosphere and a selling culture.
• Provide effective communications to Store Manager and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
• Maintain a safe facility for customers and employees.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
