Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience: Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or retail maintenance preferred.
• Chemical safety: Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and safety protocols, including PPE usage.
• Equipment knowledge: Proficiency operating heavy cleaning equipment like industrial vacuums and floor buffers.
• Time management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage tasks independently.
• Communication: Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with coworkers or customers.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate floor scrubbers daily.
• Surface sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch areas across the showroom.
• Restroom maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms as needed.
• Waste management: Empty interior trash and recycling bins and dispose properly.
• Spill response: Respond quickly to spills and post hazard signage.
• Exterior upkeep: Maintain storefront walkways and parking lot cleanliness.
• Inventory monitoring: Track cleaning supply levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
