Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Seattle seeks a Janitorial Helper Clerk to maintain cleanliness across the store, including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, eating areas, trash, and deep cleaning tasks. This role supports customer service and may assist in the Grocery department as needed. Workweek includes weekends; physical requirements apply. Starting wage is $21.55/hour.

Qualifications

Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 10-40 lbs).
Food Worker Card from WA Department of Health is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Maintains cleanliness and order throughout the store.
General cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, eating areas, trash, meat department cleaning.
Responsible for cleaning refrigerated cases and other deep cleaning tasks as needed.
Pressure washing shopping carts, baskets and outdoor areas.
Other cleaning duties as needed.
Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Stocks and faces grocery items as needed.
Operates equipment per PCC standards.
