Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Janitorial Courtesy Clerk to maintain store cleanliness, perform sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, and trash removal, including deep cleaning tasks as needed. You may assist in the Grocery department when assigned.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 10-40 lbs, weekend availability, and a Washington Food Worker Card. We value customer service, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and order throughout the store
• General cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping the sales floor, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining the eating areas, taking out the trash, and cleaning the meat department
• Responsible for cleaning the refrigerated cases and other deep cleaning projects as needed
• Pressure washing shopping carts, baskets and outdoor areas
• Other cleaning duties as needed
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards
