Job summary

Michaels Brownsburg, IN is seeking a Store Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will perform routine cleaning, assist customers, and support store operations.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, restocking supplies and handling special cleaning tasks as needed. Prior retail or cleaning experience is preferred and a friendly attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and returns to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with applicable cleaners; prepares solutions as needed.
• Performs deep cleaning of bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and high-traffic areas.
• Maintains cleaning equipment neatly and reports supply needs.
• Works with supervisor to complete tasks and uphold SOPs.
• Provides friendly customer service and supports checkout and loyalty programs when possible.
