Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated Store Bookkeeper to join our team. You will assist in accounting decisions, manage vendor invoicing, data entry, and inventory controls, and maintain store records and payroll timecards.

You will also ensure accurate store paperwork, balance cash and assets, and support daily operations with proper documentation. A reliable driver’s license is required, with great teamwork and customer service in store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic retail accounting and bookkeeping processes.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage accounts receivable and store paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with accounting decisions and procedures.
• Handle vendor invoicing, data entry, and inventory controls.
• Maintain security of store assets and balance cash and records.
• Process accounts receivable and closeout tasks.
• Prepare daily reports, purchases, markups/downs, and inventory adjustments.
• Order office supplies and audit costs and prices.
• Record sales and purchases and verify payroll timecards.
