Jockey Lincoln City is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to join our team in Lincoln City, Oregon. You will lead store operations, drive sales and guest service excellence, and support coaching and development of a high-performing team.

As MOD, you’ll mentor staff, manage merchandising, train new hires, and ensure profitability while upholding Jockey's values and customer-first culture. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and a hands-on approach to daily store challenges.

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years of age or older.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of successful management experience in a retail environment.
• Strong selling experience with proven ability to meet or exceed standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business dictates.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership that reflects Jockey's core values and culture.
• Establish positive relationships with co-workers and guests, ensuring high productivity and inclusiveness.
• Lead and maintain accountability in guest service through training and communication.
• Assist in recruiting, selecting and training store associates based on core competencies.
• Support onboarding, training and development of newly hired associates.
• Lead and inspire store team through coaching and development.
• Review key performance metrics to drive profitability and service.
• Maintain store standards including visuals, security, inventory control and policies.
• Assist in executing corporate programs including Jockey Rewards.
• Assist with merchandising and adherence to visual standards.
• Ensure all company standards are met by all employees.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and sales transactions.
• Protect cash, inventory and assets according to policies.
