Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Assistant Manager to join our team in Billings, Montana. You will assist the store manager in enforcing Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role involves managing pricing, inventory, signage, promotions, cashier duties, and staff scheduling, including acting as store manager in their absence. You will help maintain appearance, safety, cleanliness, and compliance, while training new

Qualifications

• Retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in enforcing Town Pump standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintain pricing, inventory, buildups, merchandise, signage, promotions and vendor control.
• Act as acting store manager during the manager's absence, including tills and deli coverage.
• Assist with scheduling and completion of paperwork including books and cashier duties.
• Advise on personnel situations or policy violations affecting store operations.
• Organize shift tasks, maintain cleanliness of cashier lanes and shelves.
• Order products, ensure accurate pricing, maintain displays and inventory.
• Conduct basic store maintenance and promote store safety; assist with bookkeeping tasks.
• Supervise staff training and onboarding as directed by the manager.
• Greet customers and deliver exceptional service with professionalism.
