Socket.dev Austin store seeks a full-time Store Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager on day-to-day operations and team leadership. You will guide a brand-focused team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure adherence to company standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail, a high school diploma, strong communication, and solid knowledge of merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention. Flexibility to work varied hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budgeting, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and standards.
• Create amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration.
• Support visual merchandising to maintain brand strategies.
• Ensure replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Assist in training, operations, inventory management, store administration, and customer service.
• Foster development and accountability within the team.
• Process information through the POS system and computer.
• Assist Store Manager in hiring qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
