Job summary

KnitWell Group’s White House Black Market at Fashion Mall Keystone– Indianapolis, IN seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a welcoming, personalized customer experience.

You will build community connections, drive sales to meet store goals, assist in hiring and coaching, and lead by example on the sales floor while maintaining inventory accuracy and brand standards across operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and peers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver around store.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a store team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving financial goals and staffing.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and development of associates.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel execution.
• Maintain a visually engaging store that reflects brand standards.
• Manage inventory, daily replenishment, and store inventories.
• Ensure adherence to policies and business practices.
