Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and to drive customer service, staff leadership, and store profitability. This hands-on role requires strong retail experience and a proactive approach to running a busy convenience store.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in retail management, a high school diploma (associate/bachelor's a plus), and solid skills in leadership, communication, scheduling, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or convenience store management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
• Valid and current State Driver's License is Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff and managing schedules.
• Oversee inventory levels, stock rotation, and loss prevention.
• Help drive sales, monitor cash handling, and support budgeting and profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance; assist with reporting and administration.
