J.Crew Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching the sales team to maximize performance.

You will collaborate with the broader leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and provide smooth operational support as needed. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Competenze

• 1-2 years of retail management experience
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg)

Mansioni

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to directly impact business results while maximizing profitability
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.)
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability
• Assist Store Director & Associate Store Manager with recruiting, training and development efforts, if needed
• Partner with Store Director and Associate Store Manager to create a collaborative working environment for all associates
• Ensure the team is on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service
• Lead fit sessions that boost product knowledge for associates to elevate authentic customer connection
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events
• Can step into various roles on the sales floor as needed
