Job summary

Athleta in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone in-store and bring our brand to life for customers. You’ll drive profitable sales growth through customer operations, merchandising and talent development, and coach leaders to deliver a best-in-class experience.

Work with the General Manager to execute the store strategy, lead brand associates and experts, and leverage omni-channel tools to create a frictionless shopping journey.

Qualifications

• Current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Comfort with retail technology.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and customer-focused results through operations, merchandising and leadership.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and implement efficiency plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOP compliance.
• Represent the brand and engage with the local community.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer journey.
