Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving store profitability. The role requires hands-on leadership in a busy convenience-store environment with a focus on team coaching and performance feedback.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment and training, scheduling, inventory control, sales targets, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail or convenience-store management experience; at least one year in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
• Valid and current state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
• Help recruit, train, and onboard new staff; schedule and supervise daily activities.
• Oversee inventory levels, stock rotation, receiving, and shelving to reduce waste.
• Contribute to achieving store sales goals and manage daily cash handling and POS transactions.
• Support health, safety, and regulatory compliance; conduct regular store inspections.
• Assist with administrative tasks, payroll, staffing reports, and inventory records.
