Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, delivering excellent customer service and driving store profitability.

The role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, handling cash, and ensuring compliant environments while sustaining a busy convenience store atmosphere. This position requires leadership, reliability, and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail or convenience store management with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Valid and current State Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day operations and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new staff.
• Delegate tasks and oversee daily activities of store associates.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Maintain staff schedules and coverage during peak hours.
• Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, receiving and shelving.
• Monitor cash handling and reconcile registers daily.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare daily sales, inventory, and performance reports.
