This role serves as a development path toward leadership, with opportunities for growth, and requires the ability to create schedules, support training, manage pricing and signage, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years professional experience in other retail environments.
• Prior customer service experience, training experience, and prior merchandise ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintenance experience in other retail environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion exceptional customer service for diverse clientele, fostering a welcoming environment.
• Bridge the gap between customers and corporate customer service for effective resolution.
• Promote store initiatives such as donations, loyalty programs, promotions.
• Create effective work schedules for the assigned area.
• Provide guidance and support to team to ensure task completion and motivation.
• Support training for store associates to foster growth.
• Manage merchandise presentation and signage according to guidelines.
• Verify pricing accuracy of incoming shipments; report discrepancies.
• Handle packaways, returns, transfers and recalls per policy.
• Uphold store safety and maintenance standards.
• Supervise operations including opening/closing when designated.
• Operate a cash register when needed.
