Job summary

Michaels is seeking a dedicated Store Team Member for the Daytona Beach, FL location. You will help maintain the store’s appearance, assist customers, and process checkout while promoting rewards programs.

Responsibilities include stocking, bagging and cash handling to standards, supporting omni-channel processes, and following SOPs. The role requires standing, lifting, and flexible hours including nights and weekends, with a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and enrollments; assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes; support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies.
