Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company seeks a Storage Planner for Hawthorne Army Depot to coordinate storage planning, munitions movement, reporting, and space utilization. You will prepare and maintain the Depot Master Storage Plan, coordinate receipts and interplant movements, and support compliant storage of munitions.

The role requires 5+ years in munitions logistics, DoD regulatory document proficiency, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of direct experience in munitions logistics operations.
• Ability to prepare complex regulatory documents in accordance with Department of Defense, state, federal, ATF, and Master Storage Plan requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and support implementation of the Hawthorne Army Depot Master Storage Plan.
• Coordinate storage planning activities to maximize space utilization and support safe, compliant munitions storage.
• Prepare billing tonnage reports and other required reports for shipping, receiving, storage, and Supply Depot Operations.
• Coordinate, schedule, and confirm carrier appointments for incoming materials and assign storage locations.
• Identify and research material discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Facilitate proper movement of materials in compliance with DoD, state, federal, ATF, and Master Storage Plan requirements.
• Maintain safe work practices and report safety and environmental concerns.
