Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join a Federal Program in Newington, VA. You will collaborate with storage, systems, network, and cybersecurity teams to plan, implement, and support enterprise storage solutions ensuring availability and performance.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting storage issues, participating in change and incident management, and administering SAN/NAS environments with NetApp expertise.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on with enterprise SAN/NAS (NetApp).
- Experience with storage provisioning, LUN/volume management, RAID, snapshots, replication.
- Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux servers with storage.
- Experience with backup/restore tech (Rubrik, Veeam).
- Experience with storage monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to work in fast-paced ops.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues (connectivity, performance, backups).
- Participate in change and incident management; on-call rotations and maintenance windows.
- Administer and maintain SAN/NAS environments; manage LUNs, volumes, capacity, upgrades.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and protect data availability.
