Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Storage Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and storage operations within a large-scale mission-critical environment. This position is onsite at Quantico, VA.

The Storage Engineer will provide Tier II/III support for enterprise storage platforms, SAN infrastructure, and backup technologies while ensuring system availability, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience in systems/storage roles.
• Experience with enterprise SAN platforms (NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NAS/NFS/CIFS, VMware, Windows Server, Linux.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT III or IAM III certs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate SAN/NAS/storage environments.
• Provision storage, manage capacity, and configure backups/replication.
• Ensure DISA STIG compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Upgrade storage hardware/software and support virtualization.
• Provide Tier II/III escalation and document incidents.
