Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a dynamic on-site sales/leasing professional in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. You will convert inquiries to rentals, lead engaging facility tours, and ensure a premier property appearance.

This role drives marketing efforts and community engagement while mentoring junior staff. Requirements include strong customer service, weekend availability, and experience in leasing or retail operations; HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep.
• Management experience in leasing, retail, or operation environments.
• Previous sales or marketing experience with proven ability to generate business and close leads.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be energetic and open to new ideas and direction changes.
• A HS diploma / GED equivalent; college education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the sales champion, converting inquiries into immediate storage rentals.
• Elevate the customer experience with engaging facility tours.
• Ensure the facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained.
• Execute daily facility inspections for premium presentation.
• Strategically implement marketing plans following guidelines.
• Establish a visible presence in local associations and community functions.
• Participate in tailored sales training and industry events.
• Mentor and empower assistant managers with sales acumen.
• Proactively manage rent collections and fees.
• Maintain precise accounting records with transparency.
