Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a results-driven sales/ops leader to drive rental conversions and deliver exceptional customer experiences at our self-storage facilities. You will conduct informative tours, maintain top-notch site presentation, and execute local marketing initiatives.

The role requires weekends availability and hands-on property upkeep. You will mentor junior staff, manage rent collections, and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service required.
• Open availability including weekends is needed.
• Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep.
• Management experience in leasing, retail, or operation environment.
• Previous experience in sales or marketing with a proven ability to generate business and close leads.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be energetic and open to new ideas and direction changes.
• Must have a High School diploma / GED; college education a plus.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and lift 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Completion of pre-employment background screening.
• Previous storage management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert inquiries into immediate storage rentals through proactive sales.
• Elevate customer experience with facility tours and engaging interactions.
• Keep the facility clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
• Conduct daily inspections for premium presentation and safety.
• Implement marketing plans following company guidelines.
• Build presence in local associations and community events.
• Participate in sales training and industry events to grow pipeline.
• Mentor assistant managers with sales techniques and leadership.
• Proactively manage rent collections and fees.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and transparency.
