Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc is seeking an on-site Storage Engineering professional with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph to design, implement, and secure next‑gen storage and backup environments. The role interfaces with Government Tech Leads and vendors to evaluate technologies and drive system upgrades.

Responsibilities include developing test labs, executing test plans, and providing Tier 3/4 support while ensuring compliance and operational readiness of storage platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Experience in storage design and testing across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Proficient in managing storage arrays, backup and DR processes.

Job Description

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Participating in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation of next generation Storage and Backup systems, both on and off premise
• Collaborating with the Gov Technical Leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers to evaluate emerging storage technologies
• Developing and maintaining the storage demonstration environment in the designated test lab
• Develop and execute test plans for storage and backup solutions
• Performing root cause analysis for major issues and recommend improvements
• Providing storage upgrade recommendations and support system integration activities
• Providing Tier 3/4 support to storage and backup platforms
• Conducting system security engineering with a Storage/SAN focus
• Installing, monitoring, and optimizing storage solutions to achieve Authorize to Operate (ATO)

What you'll need:

• Expertise with NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, NetBackup, or hyper‑converged solutions (VxRail, Nutanix)
• Full life‑cycle SAN administration experience, including utilization analysis and capacity planning
• Experience with virtual environment such as VMWare
• Proficiency with Windows and RedHat administration
• Familiarity with Cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or Oracle)
• Broad understanding across technology towers i.e.: Storage, Virtualization, Intel, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster Recovery
