Job summary

Value Store It Self Storage is seeking a Storage Consultant to be the first line of contact for customers in the absence of the Store Manager. This role may be full or part time and may involve working at multiple sites to provide support when a manager is off duty.

The position focuses on daily site operations, revenue enhancement, delinquency management, occupancy, and customer service. Benefits include health, life, dental, 401(k), paid vacations and holidays, and incentives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience in direct sales, retail and/or customer service.
• Strong leadership skills are helpful for growth.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Maximize conversion of telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals.
• Promote Value Store It Self Storage in the community.
• Handle cash and balance receipts; process daily deposits.
• Assist with collections and posting payments; support delinquency control.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and drive customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records for each customer and contracts.
• Operate computer systems and monitor inventory; assist with reports.
