Job summary
SecureSpace Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Vista, CA to support Store and District leadership, drive rentals, and maintain a secure, clean facility. You will collaborate with a US-based team, promote positive reviews, and help manage maintenance tasks and store operations.
The role requires at least 1 year in storage/retail/hospitality, strong English communication, and comfort with occasional travel and weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
- Strong use of English in verbal and written communication.
- Provides consistent support to the Store Manager and acts as a backup.
- Customer service mindset is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Promote unit rentals, warranties, and moving supplies to exceed sales targets.
- Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
- Coordinate with clients on moving dates and unit readiness.
- Assist with lien/auction paperwork and past-due tenant accounts.
- Conduct daily property inspections for security and cleanliness.
- Perform light maintenance and gardening tasks; use power tools as needed.
- Communicate updates clearly to the Store Manager and Leadership Team.
