Job summary

SecureSpace Self Storage is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support Store/Area/District Managers. You will help drive sales, support customer acquisitions, and manage vendor relationships while promoting teamwork across staff and customers.

The role emphasizes brand alignment, maintaining security and cleanliness, and participating in ongoing projects. A retention bonus is offered, with benefits including healthcare and 401(k), plus growth opportunities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong use of English in verbal and written communication.
• Provides consistent support to the Store Manager.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to another location for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in surpassing sales targets and promote rentals, warranties, and moving supplies.
• Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Assist in coordinating moving dates and ensuring units are ready and secure.
• Manage accounts of past-due tenants and assist with lien/auction paperwork.
• Conduct daily property inspections for security, cleanliness, and upkeep.
