Job summary
Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Stone Haus Pizza Cook/Cashier to join the Food and Beverage team. You will take orders, craft pizzas, and provide friendly, efficient service to skiers, riders, and summer guests. A free meal is provided each shift, plus access to resort perks.
As a Stone Haus Cook/Cashier you will learn the menu, enter orders into the POS, and help maintain a clean, organized dining area. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required in this seasonal role.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required by Utah law to sell and serve alcohol)
- Must obtain a Utah Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire
- Must complete Utah DABS-approved alcohol server training within 30 days of hire
- Must arrive on time and in full Stone Haus uniform for every scheduled shift
- Must maintain a clean, neat personal appearance and follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Must follow all Solitude Mountain Resort standards, policies, and procedures, including food safety, alcohol service, and age verification protocols
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Learn the Stone Haus menu well enough to make recommendations and answer guest questions
- Prepare and assemble menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Sell and serve beer responsibly, verify guest age, and refuse service when appropriate
- Keep the lobby, dining area, and workstations stocked and clean throughout the shift
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Assist the Stone Haus Manager with additional tasks as needed

- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
