Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Stone Haus Pizza Cook/Cashier in Solitude, UT. Take orders, bake pizza, and provide friendly service to guests and skiers. Enjoy a free meal each shift and resort perks.

Position is seasonal/part-time/hourly with weekend/holiday flexibility. Must meet Utah health and alcohol-service requirements and maintain a clean appearance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old ( Utah alcohol rules )
• Utah Food Handler Permit within 30 days
• Utah DABS-approved alcohol server training within 30 days
• Must wear Stone Haus uniform for every shift
• Follow Solitude Mountain Resort standards and food safety policies
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Enter orders into POS system accurately
• Learn menu to make recommendations and answer questions
• Prepare and assemble menu items to recipe and presentation standards
• Sell and serve beer responsibly and verify guest age
• Keep lobby, dining area, and stations stocked and clean
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties

POSITION

Are you a motivated, guest-focused person with food and beverage experience? Want to work somewhere with incredible views and an even better team? As a Stone Haus Cook/Cashier, you'll take orders, make great pizza, and deliver friendly, efficient service to skiers, riders, and summer guests. Plus, who doesn't love pizza? You'll get one free meal every shift, along with all the perks of working at Solitude Mountain Resort.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age or older (required by Utah law to sell and serve alcohol)
• Must obtain a Utah Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire
• Must complete Utah DABS-approved alcohol server training within 30 days of hire
• Must arrive on time and in full Stone Haus uniform for every scheduled shift
• Must maintain a clean, neat personal appearance and follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Must follow all Solitude Mountain Resort standards, policies, and procedures, including food safety, alcohol service, and age verification protocols

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Kitchen or restaurant experience preferred; ability to follow recipes and operate restaurant equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Team player who communicates and collaborates well
• Efficient food preparation and cleaning practices
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Learn the Stone Haus menu well enough to make recommendations and answer guest questions
• Prepare and assemble menu items to recipe and presentation standards
• Sell and serve beer responsibly, verify guest age, and refuse service when appropriate
• Keep the lobby, dining area, and workstations stocked and clean throughout the shift
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
• Assist the Stone Haus Manager with additional tasks as needed
